Fantasy football waivers, with the roster cost included.
Use Fantasy helps you compare waiver claims for your selected ESPN and Sleeper football teams in supported ChatGPT conversations. This is a free, invitation-only private preview. You submit every claim yourself.
Start with the gap in your own team
A recognizable available player is not automatically an improvement. Begin with the starting slot, injury or bye-week gap you need to cover. Compare players already on your bench before spending a roster spot or waiver resources. Each league keeps its own scoring, positions, roster limits and source times.
Name the add and the drop
A useful claim names the incoming player and, when your roster is full, the exact player you would drop. The cost includes the outgoing player's role and future coverage. An empty starting slot and an empty roster spot are different: dropping a starter can leave a separate lineup assignment to make. A player in reserve may need an additional eligible move before starting.
Keep fallbacks and independent claims separate
Two alternatives using the same drop form one fallback group. Two independent acquisitions can need two roster openings. Proposed bid caps for alternatives are compared using the largest cap in each exclusive group, rather than adding every fallback together. That arithmetic does not prove the platform supports the grouping or that your reported balance is spendable. Missing pending commitments remain unknown.
Separate a free-agent add from a waiver claim
The selected player's saved acquisition state determines whether the plan is an Add/Drop or a Claim/Drop. Unknown status remains a condition. A displayed waiver processing time is not necessarily the submission cutoff. Recheck the applicable deadline, time zone, locks, current availability and budget on your fantasy platform before acting.
Use the evidence at its actual age
ChatGPT reads saved account evidence. Asking again does not refresh it. Request an update separately in Account and check whether collection and analysis completed. Roster facts, forecasts, current reporting and the assistant's judgment have different roles. Missing compatible forecasts cannot establish a numerical improvement; a recent roster does not make an older injury report current.
Ask for a complete decision, including hold
Try: “Review waivers for my selected football teams. Compare bench coverage first. For each team, give a preferred add/drop or a justified hold, the required roster move, any fallback order, and the facts that still need checking.”
Holding preserves your player, roster space and waiver resources. It can be the appropriate outcome when the available evidence does not support the cost of a move. Saving an application decision or displaying a card never submits a fantasy transaction.
